in which i talk about coloring

saw this while browsing through the bumper stickers in facebook.

reminds me when i was young. i also loved coloring. i liked it bright and vibrant. my crayons were always pudpod, and always ends up messing my hands. i never liked those jumbo crayons because i felt i can never finish them. oh, and they are always broken. but the best thing about crayons is the way they smell after you roughly strike it through new, crisp, bond paper.

hmmm. love. 🙂

and then i learned to use craypas. dirtier, brighter, messier than crayons. and they stick more to your hands when you start to blend two colors together. i remember that my paper used to weigh heavier because i colored so hard.

my ate used to teach me how to color: you outline the picture you want to color hardly, and then softly color what is inside the outline. yuck. there is no force, no depth to it. i want it dirty, heavy, messy.

ergo… 20 years later, i guess that’s how my life is. dirty, heavy, messy, but definitely bright and vibrant.

i’m out.
